		Bands that spare presentations exist, this is the case of the Austrian group Summoning.
		Unlike a normal band only we to have to be of the same oppionon that that is very easy cuase if anyone of use would ever bring a usical idea that the other does notlike it is totaly easy for us to use this idea for one of our other projects.
		For a long time this song was not meant to be sung with choirs, but the more time passed and the clearer it got that this song is a catchy one we thought that a choir singing the tune of the flute would suit great to it.

		Summoning already released its first demo tape when Abigor still was not formed.
		I didn’t quit the band that time because I thought it was just an interlude and they would come back to the spirit and feeling fl metal stood once.
		Summoning started as a fl metal band but as we didn’t wanted to have the same lyrical and musical concept as Abigor we changed a lot and built up our own identity.

	Summoning
		Chronicles Of Chaos 10/10 (Dol Guldur) - I have basically worshipped this band since last year's amazing _Minas Morgul_, in which Protector and Silenius (who is also in Abigor) abandoned the raw fl metal of their debut and pioneered a unique, mesmerizing style of epic-ambient, flened-medieval-metallic music.
		On songs like the awesome "Khazad Dum", Summoning build layer upon layer in consecutive steps, so that what begins as a simple series of notes is embellished, bit by bit, with distinct series of cool, imaginative tones, until there are five, six, seven separate layers to the sound, all woven splendidly together.
		Still, the epic atmosphere that this band manages to create is quite an asset, although in the future it would probably be a good idea to add some more variety to its style.

		Summoning is one of those very few fl metal bands I'll rave about.
		And for a fl metal band, that's saying a lot for me. The simplistic epic sound of songs like 'Morthond', 'Ungoliath', 'Long Lost To Where No Pathway Goes', and 'Over Old Hills' is a sound that I love and have not been able to find another band with anything like it.
		It shows that Summoning are definitely taking a step back and going back to their mid-period sound with touches of the new sound.

		Summoning isn't a huge fan of keys, but you won't be blown away with a blasting bass sound as with 90% of the death metal out there.

		I've recently discovered an up and coming band from Chicago that performs a "Classic" style of Heavy Metal reminiscent of Sanctuary/Nevermore, and even a bit of early Fates Warning thrown in for good measure.
		Their debut album "Summoning" has a slightly progressive feel to it, an intense marriage of the best elements of Thrash and Power Metal combined.
		"Summoning" is a solid first effort that deserves to be supported by the Metal community.

		Abigor is an Austrian fl metal band formed in 1993 by Peter Kubik (P.K.) and Thomas Tannenberger (T.T.).
		After the release of several demos, original vocalist Tharen left the band and was replaced by Silenius, who recorded vocals for all Abigor releases until the recording of Channeling the Quintessence of Satan during which he opted to leave the band.
		In late 1999, Tannenberger left the band for various reasons (ranging from personal problems to being fed up with what once was the "scene").

	Connexion Bizarre
		In the last time, most bands of the EBM sector transformed their music into techno orientated music with not much darkness in it.
		Once the new Summoning CD will be released I will start thinking about any other released, but at the moment I can not say anything about it.
		But now most bands added plenty of real drummers, guitars or techno rythms to their music (I don't have anything against guitars, real drummers or techno beats; but it is sad that there is not much alternative to it anymore).

		Band comments: In contrary to many other bands Summoning always had not very much fan articles to offer; the only fans articles have been different kinds of printed cloths.
		From the Lugburz release no merchandise had been done; the first long sleeve of Summoning was made with the “Minas Morgul” release, it was printed in America.
		As far as the band knows, in this time also promo posters with the cover motive of “Dol Guldur” have been made which are now desired collectors items.
