		Super Mario Land 2 is the first game to feature Wario, who starred in the sequel, Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, beginning the Wario Land spin-off series and replacing Mario as the star in subsequent Mario-themed Game Boy platform games.

		Mario's movements are touchy enough to discourage me from using the run button (which I always have my thumb firmly planted on during SMB) but even with the run button depressed it's never possible to zoom through the levels of SML with the speed possible in SMB.
		Mario enters a submarine and an airplane in two stages that approximate a space shooter, and which strongly reminded me of similar stages in Puss N Boots.

		Super Mario Land involves Mario rescuing Princess Daisy from the land of Sarasa.
		The graphics are almost exactly the same as the original Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo, except that they are much smaller, and the worlds have been given different themes, such as Egyptian, Water and Chinese themes.
		The graphics are very miniscule in Mario Land (normal Mario would be about as big as the 'plus' symbol on your keyboard), but nonetheless, they are still fairly clear and at least you can tell your character apart from the scenery.
