	Sentai Spoilers a hub a hub.
		Sentai belongs to Japan as a whole, and Toei and Bandai seem to be mostly in charge.
		Sometimes I think the writers of whichever Sentai program get so involved in telling their stories, that they forget who their target audience is supposed to be.
		The Sentai underlying theme on the same subject, being from a country where just about everyone has various shades of fl hair and fl eyes, is: No matter how different we are, we can work together for the common good.

		Sentai (Japanese: 戦隊), the Japanese word for task force (literally fighting squadron - Sentai was also a term used for Japanese squadrons in WWII), is most commonly used for classifying the "superhero team" genre of shows produced by Toei Company Ltd. and Bandai, and aired by TV Asahi.
		The third Sentai series, Battle Fever J (1979), is the first Super Sentai show (on account of it being the first to have a giant robot that the heroes ride - the past two shows only had vehicles).
		The first Super Sentai (being the first to have a giant robot) and the first to wear scarves instead of capes (although an earlier tokusatsu series humorously demonstrated their impracticality).

		To the casual observer, Super Sentai programs will all look the same, but this denies the true nature of the programs, which are one of the most rich and developed series' ever produced anywhere.
		The sub-genre's appeal may well rest on the fact that everything is combined into a smorgasbord: Non-stop action, a diversity of hero characters (for both men and women to emulate), a generous supply of special effects, great music, monsters and mecha, very cool villains and well-crafted melodrama.

		Since the 1980s, Bandai has become the leading toy company of Japan, and to this day, has the main toy licenses in Japan to popular properties including Daikaiju, Ultraman, Super Robot, Kamen Rider, the Super Sentai Series (which they took part in creating), Gundam and many others.
		Several complaints raised by fans revolve around the Sentai "Henshin Devices" and the fact that they've either: been scaled down, stripped of many of their original electronic features, have certain parts removed or replaced and that the toys lack the paint detail of the original toys.
