		Many game designers believe the first 15 minutes of a video game are the most critical.
		Superman cannot be damaged, but he must protect Metropolis at all costs -- a small on-screen health meter shows the state of the city, which determines whether you win or lose a mission.
		Superman is kidnapped early in the game and must fight robots and other enemies on another planet in a kind of televised gladiator match.

		The game is widely recognized as the ultimate stinker, so much so that all of the Superman games that have come out since its release in 1999 have somehow seemed tainted by association.
		Superman Returns takes place in the sprawling city of Metropolis (what, you though they'd move to Gotham City?), which in the game is spread out over nearly 80 square miles and is comprised of over 8000 buildings.
		Both the game world and the city itself are just as vertical as they are horizontal, as Metropolis is built on what seems to be series of plateaus, each of which is covered with a number of highrises and other buildings.
