Burkle North America | Bacher Product Line
With the PICO SupraLight Exposure System, Burkle North America is introducing a new generation of imaging equipment using the SupraLight LED light technology.
The SupraLight technology with adjustable collimation angle enables to expose with the same quality anywhere on the panel.
With the stated company goal of developing and producing equipment that is at the fore- front of technology, of high quality and longevity, Bacher looks into a very positive future.

Millennium Falcon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An example of this is when Han Solo used the maneuverability to elude three Star Destroyers that were trying to block them in and nearly made them collide with each other.
The Falcon's true strength involves the skill of her crew and her extraordinarily fast supralight speeds, of which no manned vessel is known to compare.
The cobbled-together nature of the ship presented many problems throughout the movies and the novels; systems were barely held together and apparently had many incompatibilities, a fact that didn't go unrecognized among the characters of the movies.

The sensors are mounted on pylons which are clustered around the forward hull of the ship and have two 2 m aperture telescopes which are capable of optical, spectrographic and infrared resolution; a gas chromagraph; centimetric navigation and landing radar; a synthetic aperture ground mapping radar; and a mass counter for supralight navigation.
The supralight drive is a Yutani T7A NLS tachyon shunt which is capable of unladen high cruise up to 0.42 ly per sidereal day (153 cee).
When it is towing large amounts of cargo such as automated refineries, the maximum sustainable cruise speed drops radically, about 0.1-0.12 ly per sidereal day (40-45 cee).

 Time Travel/Talk - Wikipedia
In particular, if faster than light travel is possible without too many arbitrary restrictions, it is possible to have events in the future cause events in the past.
In relativity there are two kinds of intervals, time-like and space-like, the former corresponding to sublight speeds and that latter to supralight speeds.
The two are non-equivalent so faster than light objects won't have a rest frame.

That is why the ideas of Warp, Starburst, Hyperspace are so intriguing is that you could contravene some of our basic physical laws to move faster than light without actually moving faster than light.
There are theoretical particles that Exist at supralight speeds, [Tauon, Tachyon I cant remember] but they have damn close to no mass [the m in E=mc{squared}] If that mass starts to rise then the enrgy needs to rise as well.
About the idea of star maps...even if John was only 60 light cycles away without a mapping system to interpret 3D space he would never figure it out because literally nothing would look the same.

Spectre class Tactics -- An Introduction
Certainly, there are those in the Confederation that shudder at this ship's single-mindedness, but I submit that in these current times of chaos, Starfleet must have the tools to defend the Confederation's ideals from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
The primary supralight propulsion system on the ship is the experimental soliton wave system.
Rather than carrying a bulky warp core, plasma conduits, and nacelles, the Spectre replaces all of that with an array of five soliton field generators placed along the lower central edge of the ship.

The term solar sail is a misnomer, since Count Dooku's interstellar sloop uses an as-yet unknown brand of energetic propulsion far more exotic than stellar radiation.
Dooku acquired the delicate and ancient sail from mysterious Gree artisans, who developed a technology that harnesses supralight emissions for interstellar travel.
The solar sailer, like other Geonosian ships, uses a sophisticated array of narrow tractor/repulsor beams as offensive grapples and steering aids when in flight, affording the vessel an impressive manoeuvrability.

Supralight drive is still not that fast when you are dealing with light years.
It is through the Astralverse that the Supralight Drive is able to bring humanity to the greater Galaxy, otherwise old star drives would take weeks and months, not days, to traverse the void between the stars.

Small space-faring vessels generally do not have the power plant yields or necessary spaceframe to support supralight engines.
Snubfighters equipped with hyperdrives are rare and expensive, and small craft tend to rely on larger carrier ships for extended voyages into the depths of space.
During the weeks preceding the start of the Clone Wars, there was an undisclosed number of advanced Delta-7 models with experimental hyperdrives incorporated into their frame, though performance data of those models is a closely guarded secret.

Supralight speed, which, if the vessel is capable of such a thing, determines how fast a vessel can travel between solar systems.
Smaller ships may get to certain places faster but have a limited fuel supply whereas larger vessels may have a longer range and a huge supply of energy to burn up.
This can be any speed the GM wants, with a drive that enables the vessel to get to a star in weeks, or a drive that might enable the journey to be completed in days or even hours.

I have a question on the colouring, I think with the speed the drink will be travelling we can only hope to produce a red or blue doppler shift, is there any way of bending it with some forced gravitational field and then refract it through a star to extract the green?
The drink will only be moving at supralight speed as it's being drawn out of the bottle through the superstringnozzel and into the glass, once the glass is full the drink will no longer be moving at high speed and it should revert back to its green colouring.

A star destroyer has three major propulsion systems.
One is the hyperdrive, which achieves a crossing of the lightspeed barrier for supralight travel; the other two are concerned with movement through realspace at sublight speeds.
The hyperdrive systems of Imperial warships are exceptionally powerful and well-tuned compared to those of civilian starships.
