London, England's Cities, Towns, Villages and Settlements
London is the capital of the United Kingdom and England.
Today, "London" usually refers to the conurbation known as Greater London, which is divided into thirty-two London Boroughs and the county of the City of London and forms the London region of England.
London's two Anglican bishops are the Bishop of London, whose see is London north of the Thames, and whose throne is in London's grandest church, the baroque St Paul's Cathedral (designed by Sir Christopher Wren), and the Bishop of Southwark, who tends to Anglicans south of the river.

Surbiton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Surbiton is a suburban area of London situated in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
It is a commuter town next to the river Thames, populated with a mixture of Art-Deco courts, spacious and grand late-19th century town houses blending into a sea of semi-detached 20th century housing estates.
Surbiton's main claim to popular fame is as an icon of suburbia in such British television programs as The Good Life (starring Richard Briers and Felicity Kendal), and John Sessions' comedy series Stella Street, which has on occasion led to the town being nicknamed "Suburbiton".

Weston Light Meters - History, Repairs, Current Sources
From 1932 to around 1967, over 36 varities of Weston Photograhic Exposure Meters were produced in large quantities and sold throughout the world, mostly by Photographic dealers or agents, which also inclu- ded the Weston film speed ratings, as there were no ASA or DIN data available at that time.
Now, that you have somewhat of a mental picture of the dynamic Dr.Edward Weston, I revert to 1898, and per an old handwritten crumpled logbook, it appears that he founded the Weston Electrical Instrument Company.Ltd in London, England, as a subsidiary of the Newark Company of the same name, exept minus the "Ltd".
Thus it can be seen why the name Sangamo-Weston Ltd.appeared on the Weston Exposure-meters, which were sold in England, and possibly in other countries in Europe, possibly exeption Germany, as Weston had a small company in Berlin, known as -European Weston Electrical Instrument Company Ltd., as the Standard Cell Manufacturing site and German sales office.

BBC NEWS | UK | Education | Wild parrots settle in suburbs
Parks and gardens in the leafy London suburbs have been adopted as a preferred habitat by birds that are native to southern Asia.
The population boom has been put down to a series of mild winters, a lack of natural predators, food being available from humans and that there are now enough parrots for a wider range of breeding partners.
At present, the RSPB says parakeets are particularly concentrated in the west London, south-west London and Thames Valley area - and this has given rise to the urban legend that the birds originally escaped from a container at Heathrow airport.
