A former Surrey high school teacher convicted of sexual interference with a 13-year-old student has been given a five-month conditional sentence.
Shawn Seong Su Yu, 43, has also been ordered to submit a DNA sample and to register with the national sex offender registry.
Yu was charged after the former student testified that on several occasions he had touched her breast during math classes at Guildford Park Secondary School in May 2004.
