		I think Survival horror and the action/adventure genre has its roots in traditional adventure, there are many simularities, although they generally require a wholly different strategy and ask different things of you to get through..
		The closest survival horror has come to adventure, in my opinion, is Clock Tower 1, which is point and click and the only action involves either hiding from scissorman or using an inventory item on him.
