		After an unusually lengthy trip sailing across the Atlantic Ocean from England, the three ships, Susan Constant (sometimes known as the Sarah Constant), Godspeed, and Discovery with their crews of 101 men and 4 boys led by Susan Constant Captain Christopher Newport made landfall at Cape Henry on April 26, 1607.
		Full-sized replicas of the three ships that brought the colonists, the Susan Constant, Godspeed, and Discovery were constructed at a shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia and docked at Jamestown.
