Susan McMaster's recent book, ''Waging Peace'', collects the poetry, art, and texts from ''Convergence: Poems for Peace'', which presented art-wrapped poems from across Canada to all MPs and Senators in 2001.
McMaster University is a medium-sized research-intensive university located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, with an enrollment of 16,771 full-time and 3,599 part-time students (as of 2004).
McMaster's main campus is bordered to the north by Cootes Paradise, an extensive natural marshland, to the east and west by residential neighbourhoods and to its south by Main Street West, a major artery of Hamilton.

 Global study shows nine factors identify majority of heart attack risk
The study was presented today at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) conference in Munich, Germany by Dr. Salim Yusuf, a professor of medicine at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University and director of the Population Health Research Institute at McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences, which coordinated the study.
The study found that the two most important risk factors are cigarette smoking and an abnormal ratio of blood lipids (Apolipoprotein B/Apolipoprotein A-1), which together predicted two-thirds of the global risk of heart attack.
John Kelton, dean of the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine and dean and vice-president, Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University, said: "The results of this massive study will change public health policy around the world.
