Nattrass slipped into the Canadian Olympic Association offices at the Games and tapped out 15 letters that she planned to hand deliver to Olympic officials.
When Nattrass petitioned to have more targets in trap, she was told that the IOC doesn't want women to compete with the same comparative scores as the men.
Nattrass has told her niece that when she turns 12, she will teach her to shoot, if she wants to learn.

Nattrass, who is the oldest shooter competing in Athens, squeaked into the final round Monday, qualifying fifth with a three-round score of 61 out of a possible 75 on a windy day at Markopoulo Olympic Shooting Centre.
Nattrass, who will also compete in double trap, said she knew after missing her second target on her fourth shot in the final, the first of three straight misses, there was no way she'd finally wear an Olympic medal around her neck.
Nattrass shot 20 in the first round then hit 22 targets in the second, including 18 straight hits but struggled to a 19 in the final round of qualifying.

Nattrass was Grand All-Around titlist again in 1972 (389), 1976 (378 plus 37 extras) and 1979 (380), and she collected High-Over-All championships in 1972 (946x1,000), 1974 (938) and 1976 (933 plus 46 in overtime).
At age 17 Nattrass snared the 1968 Canadian Championships handicap title over the field, and in 1979 she annexed the main high-over-all trophy as well as the women’s singles and all-around crowns.
Susan was ATA women’s singles average leader in 1970, 1973, 1974, 1976 and 1977, and she headed doubles standings in 1974 and 1975.
