 Suspect Interrogation Techniques
The suspect should be confronted at every turn with testimony and evidence to refute alibis, that his or her guilt is definitely a matter against which no lies will defend.
If witnesses whose identities are known to the suspect are available, they may be requested to walk past the crime scene without saying or doing anything to indicate to the suspect that they are aware of his or her presence.
In all variations, one suspect is played against another by purposely encouraging the belief of one suspect that a companion in the crime is cooperating or has talked about the crime and has laid the blame on the suspect you are interrogating.

Suspect Zero is trying so hard to be deliberately stylish that it forgets there's an interesting premise underneath all that vanity.
In Suspect Zero, for example, Mackelway enters a basement dwelling without working electricity so that the only thing discernible to the audience is spotlighted by the agent's flashlight--it's extremely similar to an early scene from Seven.

Suspect Zero Listing at Box Office Prophets
Suspect Zero takes that concept and applies it to serial killers, as it tells the tale of an FBI agent tracking the murderer of a number of famous mass murderers.
The introduction of remote viewing into the Suspect Zero scenario, along with the rather unique basis for the avenging former agent’s crusade, provides an interesting twist to what is otherwise a pretty standard police procedural/crime drama film.
If Suspect Zero concentrates more on these aspects of its story rather than the mundane how’s-he-gonna-catch-the-bad-guy elements, the film could be a thought-provoking, mature offering during its time in the theatres.

THE clichéd and pre dictable "Suspect Zero" is the latest evidence that Holly wood has run the se rial-killer thriller into the ground through overuse — the same way it earlier exhausted, say, buddy action-comedies.
The twist of "Suspect Zero" is that the killer is targeting other serial killers — specifically, the title character, who is so adept at not leaving patterns that he has racked up a body count of hundreds of children.
"Suspect Zero" ends with one of the two main characters begging the other to put him out of his misery — a sentiment the exasperated audience may well share by that point.

DVD Verdict Review - Prime Suspect 6: The Last Witness
Tennison soon suspects that the killer is connected to a wider conspiracy to hide the truth about an escaped war criminal (Oleg Menshikov).
The standard formula for a Prime Suspect case is: Jane pushes her way onto a case, alienates most of her staff before bringing them grudgingly back to her side, makes a dreadful and fatal miscalculation midway through that nearly bungles the case, then pulls it all back together to catch the bad guy.
This time out, the script focuses less on the cat-and-mouse game between Tennison and her prime suspect, and more on the emotional weight crushing the aging detective: her doggedness in pursuing the case, her horror at the atrocities of the Bosnian War, and more about her family than we have ever learned before.

This form is used for the local and state police records; the FBI has their own fingerprint form that police are supplied with.

Merhige’s new film, Suspect Zero, is full of sinister atmosphere and effective imagery from veteran cinematographer Michael Chapman, but it too would benefit from an absence of dialogue.
As Mackalway’s new boss, he abandons the sly, scheming style he used in B2 and delivers his lines in the voice of Urkel, from ABC’s late, unlamented “Family Matters.” Perhaps the glasses he wears in the film are cursed.
The first time an image is shot upside down, when feet enter a room as though by the ceiling, it heightens the scene’s eeriness.
