Very rarely we find Swamis truly dedicated to the tradition of Vedanta as Swamis C, D and V. Sw D was initially in Chinmaya Mission too but later left in 1982 to translate into action some of his organisational priorities.
Every Swami is basically a loner and just drifts around exuding the fragrance of knowledge to those around in his or her own special way.
I read Swami Dayananda's 'Seeker and the Sought', and really enjoyed it (may be because we already discussed many of the points he was talking about, and I was delighted to see it confirmed again).
