 Llanelli and District Railway
The Llanelli and District Railway Society (LDRS) was formed in 1987 with the aim of preserving the former Llanelly (the old anglicised spelling of Llanelli) and Mynydd Mawr Railway (LMMR), built on the alignment of the Carmarthenshire Tramroad, one of the oldest tramroads in the world.
One of these is located at the Swansea Vale Railway, and new members are needed to work on the units and to help fund the restoration.
