The word was also heard in the movie of Madagascar released in early 2005 in theaters on the very first part of which you find monkey in a cage picking a donut of a garbage can and knocking it on the other sleeping one.

Youth Curry - Insight on Indian Youth: Swear word mil gaya
We hold these truths to be self evident: That all words are created equal and are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights among which is the right to life — to simply exist free of harassment; liberty — the right to be seen and spoken freely and used whenever deemed desirable.
Swear words are definitely an essential part of language, and regarding the 'quality of the lyrics' argument, low-brow songs exist in every generation, and even they are generally necessary (as necessary as something of this sort can be).
I think that while you are right that youths do enjoy usage of bad words, it is media which has to take and show some responsibility to ensure that people actually beocme mature enough to understand that swear words are a gross waste of time and actually bring you nothing but disrespect and fights.

Holidays to swear by - The Boston Globe
In the late 19th century, writes David Crystal in The Cambridge Encyclopedia of the English Language, it was known as ''the great Australian adjective," and by the 1940s it was no longer considered a swear word.
It may be derived from ''the habits of the 'bloods' or aristocratic rowdies" of the late 17th century, says the Oxford English Dictionary; or maybe the repellent associations of the literal bloody were enough to arouse distaste.
And when it came to broadcast guidelines, bloody was the tamest word on the list: Only 5 percent of people who called it a swear word thought it should ''never" be heard on TV.

Is swearing, or taking an oath, ever justifiable? Does the Bible permit swearing? - at BibleStudy.org
The Bible describes four different kinds of swearing, three of which are found in the Old Testament and one found in the New Testament:
The word swear as used here is Strong's Concordance #7650 meaning "to be complete, to seven oneself.
Here, the word is Strong's #422, which means "to adjure i.e., (usually in a bad sense) imprecate -- adjure, curse, swear." The only other instance where this particular use of the word swear occurs is 2Chronicles 6:22.

How to Stop Swearing - WikiHow
Swearing won't stop overnight - if it has become a habit, it is second nature for you to respond this way.
If you use swearing as a source of attention, ask yourself what is lacking in your life and try to work on improving that aspect of yourself.
You may think that the words only mean what you intend them to mean, however, it is what the listener interprets them to mean that is relevant in any social context.

 Let's Stop Swearing | Progressive U
One of the only reasons they are considered to be "swear words" is because the french didn't like the language and after they conquered the area felt that it was bad when they used it.
But there's no reason not to swear ever - a word is nothing more than a sound you make that helps you communicate, and as "swear words" have connotations just like any other words, they are useful in communication.
Replacing swear words with other 'less offensive' words doesn't solve anything because the intention behind the words is the same.

The Baron of Deseret: The Power of Language (Part 1)
A person who is knowingly and purposely swearing has a negative and ugly outpouring of emotion behind their words, of which the actual swear word is just a manifestation.
Someone from the ‘ignorant’ group may be using the actual word (and may have somewhat of an idea what it means), but the actual negative, ugly expression of feeling attached to it is lacking, since they didn’t really have that negative feeling when using that word to begin with.
Back to ‘Mormon’ swear words, then—if society has found ‘fake’ equivalents to be acceptable from an offensiveness standpoint and we, in fact, don’t have that ‘receiving’ component in play—then maybe we have found a substantive difference between the two.

As a culture, we have a general agreement of which words are "swear" words and which words are acceptable.
Whether or not swear words are "offensive" is an individual judgment, as it is only the individual who can be offended.
Words are, after all, merely combinations of sounds.

Re: Who determines a swear word
But then there are all those other words that I was taught were profane too that seem to have no particular association with Christianity or the Bible, but no-one ever really taught me why.
I could use the word 'bloody' several times in a sentence and it could simply be a gap filler, poor grammar or even some sort of terms of endearment.
However, if I used that word with some bitterness and as an adjective to describe something that was really cheesing me off, then it could become a swear word.

Tell your children when you say this swear word this is like telling someone you think they are dumb and stupid and you know how you feel when others call you dumb and stupid.
For the swear word that means similar to “poop”, you and your child could rhyme a couple words together like poopity doopity scoopity and tell them to use these words instead and most times they will get a response similar to the laughing response using swear words.
Gently and consistently remind your child to use other words to express this feelings while modeling your own language accordingly, most children are likely to out grow of swearing in their own time.

Spanish Swear Words - Learn Spanish Culture Newsletter
What is a swear word in Mexico may not be a swear word in Panama or Spain and other words that are non-offensive in Columbia can be very offensive in Peru.
For example, the slang word for "friend" in some areas of South America is "choche" or "pana", in Central America it can be "pasiero" or "vato" depending on the region and country.
So, the next time you spend a lot of time to build your arsenal of Spanish swear or slang words, remember you may be wasting your time because they probably won't work for everyone.

Finnish has plenty of native swear words (saatana, perkele, vittu, jumalauta, and more), and I still cannot imagine how Bryson came to the conclusion that, not only did it have only one, but that it was the word for "in the restaurant." It's truly mind-boggling.
It is a typical Finnish masculine curse word, used to appeal to Finns as a rural attitude in which trouble is faced and conquered with determination and direct action.

Swearing and potty talk: Why it happens and what you can do about it
Many times, a child's first swear word will be the result of direct mimicry; maybe she heard you say it when another driver cut you off in traffic, and now she's repeating it endlessly in the back seat.
For adult-variety swear words, you don't have to explain what they mean or why they're unacceptable.
If your child is just trying a new word on for size or singsonging it under her breath for the thrill, chances are you can persuade her to substitute another exciting new word (try "abracadabra" or "shazzam") or a nursery rhyme.

I have just noticed that in VB2, adding a word to the swear filter replaces it with asterisks dynamically for all existing posts, but then hard-replaces the word with asterisks in new posts.
Be able to be set filter as: on the fly, on post, on the fly if the word censor has been changed since last parse, on the fly if the word censor has been changed since last parse and save changes to the database (changing the last parse date of course)
Also, the ability to set all posts to have predefined text in place of the filtered word such as *beep* by default rather than using a character such as * for each character in the filtered word would be nice.
