Ordained into the ministry of the Methodist Church in 1965 and having served in a parish, as Vice-Master of Wesley College within the University of Sydney and as chaplain to Methodist students, Michael Horsburgh was received into the Anglican Church in 1982.
He was given the Archbishop of Sydney’s licence as a Diocesan Reader in 1983.
He is a part-time faculty member of St John’s College, Morpeth and an honorary associate of the School of Theology at Charles Sturt University.
