Muhammad (name) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The name Muhammad is the transliteration of a Arabic name that comes from the Arabic passive participle from the Triconsonantal root of H-M-D ("praise"), meaning "the praised one".
It should be noted, however, that the brief section on such persons given by Ibn Sa'd has the heading, "Account of those who were named Muhammad in the days of the djahiliyya [q.v.] in the hope of being called to prophethood which had been predicted", which indicates the tendentious nature of some of these accounts.
Ibn Ishaq's "The Life of Muhammad" includes a particular person named Muhammad that was killed in c.570 CE, the Year of the Elephant, and who was related to the known events of that year.

One can say, on this perspective, that Sadra may have maintained that the existential experience of the unitary consciousness has a twofold task: to be the experience of its very being as well as of the beings at the same time.
Consciousness can then be characterized as "being-for-itself" (in Sadra: al wujood li nafseh) because its existence consists in its dependency on objects (Being for Sadra), its non-reflective knowledge of its own dependency on objects, and the possibility of explicit recognition of itself in the Cartesian cogito.
Much of the characterization of being-for-itself (al wujood li nafseh), however, must be made in contrast to Being-in-itself (al wujood fi dhateh).

Happiness(sa'adah) being the exact opposite of misery(shaqawah) and as known in the experience and consiousness of those who truly submissive to God and follow His guidance is not an end in itself because the highest good in life is the love of God.
