I have a Perl script which parses out the email address from the message, and send that person a message that basically says "Who are you?" The problem is that this script runs under Cygwin, and uses the MH 'send' command to send the message.
Also, that "raÅ_Ä—:" had to be "rašė:", but seems like sylpheed is a bit broken there.
I would recommend sylpheed to use *that* GTK build also, as it would be shared system-wide, and all the GTK settings would also be shared.

I would not suggest to use the imap server for this purpose because sylpheeds queue messages have a special header that can not be handled correctly by the imap server, when the data for the summaryview is queried.
This is because if you have text after the cursor, that also means in general that you are only editing a message, and not writing it, so advancing the cursor to the misspelled word is in general the wanted behaviour.
KDE does not support passing the full URL to a mailer (see bug 658 and the corresponding KDE bug entry).
