	Symarip - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Symarip, formerly the Pyramids, were a ska and reggae band from the United Kingdom, originating towards the end of the 1960s and into the early 1970s.
		Such hits included "Skinhead Moonstomp", "Skinhead Girl", and "Skinhead Jamboree." Symarip is widely marked as the first skinhead band, being the first band to target skinheads as an audience.

		Well, the Bees, under that name, didn’t last much longer - but, under a variety of nome-de-disque, they would be ever-present on the Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae scenes for years to come.
		Besides the timeless title track, there are 24 examples of how Symarip combined pumping, heavy rhythms with a cheerful, good-time atmosphere - as they do on numbers like the revival of The Tornadoes’ ‘Telstar’, another skin favourite back in 1970, or the rollicking piece of exuberant fun, Skinhead Jamboree’.
		While it’s good to see them back, Symarip will be best remembered for the heavy, pumping but always good-time sounds that they recorded between 1969 and 1971.
