Symposia Bookstore : Home Symposia is a non-profit project whose mission is to foster personal and community development by creating and supporting local groups in the New York metropolitan area. Since the fall of 2001 when the first group started, Symposia has organized hundreds of diverse gatherings in bookstores, coffee houses and libraries, attracting a wide variety of people and providing support for many programs, projects and events.
