Fortunately for those in the Calhoun community, he has two more years to compete in high school and he is looking forward to those years.
His most memorable moment in a Colt uniform came against MacArthur High School on May 3rd when Chris hit a walk off grand slam home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Colts an 11 to 8 victory and a temporary share of first place in the Conference.

In my senior year of high school we placed fourth at the New York State Championships which was very exciting but at the same time disheartening since I was hoping to make Nationals.

 Boys’ Swim Team Performs Well In Hewlett & Syosset
On Tuesday, January 11th, the Garden City Boys’ Varsity Swim Team swam against Hewlett High School and came away with a victory.
After the meet, Coach Anne Sullivan told her swimmers that they had to be ready to repeat this performance in the Division Championship meet on February 4th.
In the Syosset meet, Sean Lane and Jonathan Derlath finished in second and third place respectively in the 200 yard freestyle.

Syosset had a great scoring chance early in the period, as one of their forwards picked up a loose puck and came in on a breakaway on goaltender Jeff Greco.
Greco played the move made by the Syosset forward perfectly to keep Syosset off the scoreboard.
The high tempo first period featured end-to-end action, with Wantagh generating the better scoring opportunities.
