		Several Syosset High School alumni have taken advantage of the opportunity by creating nonprofit websites that focus on Syosset and Syosset High School alumni.
		In 1997, John Delin, a 1960 graduate from Syosset High School, was helping plan the reunion for the classes of 1959 - 1963.

	Boys’ Swim Team Performs Well In Hewlett & Syosset
		On Tuesday, January 11th, the Garden City Boys’ Varsity Swim Team swam against Hewlett High School and came away with a victory.
		After the meet, Coach Anne Sullivan told her swimmers that they had to be ready to repeat this performance in the Division Championship meet on February 4th.
		In the Syosset meet, Sean Lane and Jonathan Derlath finished in second and third place respectively in the 200 yard freestyle.

	Varsity Ice Hockey Splits
		Syosset had a great scoring chance early in the period, as one of their forwards picked up a loose puck and came in on a breakaway on goaltender Jeff Greco.
		Greco played the move made by the Syosset forward perfectly to keep Syosset off the scoreboard.
		The high tempo first period featured end-to-end action, with Wantagh generating the better scoring opportunities.
