T waves will usually be abnormal in ventricular hypertrophy, left bundle branch block, chronic pericarditis, and in electrolyte abnormality.
Inverted T waves are seen during the evolution of myocardial infarction.
The T wave tends to be oriented opposite the QRS in LBBB.

  Myocardial Ischemia, Injury and Infarction
The Q wave appears when the infarcted muscle is electrically inert and the loss of forces normally generated by the infarcted area leaves unbalanced forces of variable magnitude in the opposite direction from the remote region, for example, an opposite wall.
Non-Q wave infarction, which is diagnosed in the presence of ST depression and T wave abnormalities.
The presence of the Q wave in the absence of ST and T wave abnormality generally indicates prior or healed infarction.

 The Wave Nature of Matter
In some experiments, like Young's double slit experiment, light clearly showed itself to be a wave, but other phenomena, such as the photoelectric effect, demonstrated equally clearly that light was a particle.
If we begin to think of electrons as waves, we'll have to change our whole concept of what an "orbit" is. Instead of having a little particle whizzing around the nucleus in a circular path, we'd have a wave sort of strung out around the whole circle.
It's only at the molecular or atomic level that the waves begin to be large enough (compared to the size of an atom) to have a noticeable effect.

Stéphan T. Grilli, Distinguished Professor and Chair of Ocean Engineering, was educated at the University of Liège (Belgium), where he received an M.S. in civil engineering in 1980, an M.S. in physical oceanography in 1983 and a Ph.D. in Applied Sciences (Hydraulic and Ocean Engineering) in 1985.
Grilli's recent research is primarily directed at wave analysis in coastal areas and wave interaction with submerged and emerged coastal structures, including wave-induced sediment transport around partly buried mines, freak wave generation and impact on structures, topographic wave breaking and properties of breaking waves, waves generated by FastShips (surface effect ships).
As part of an ONR project, the model was used to calculate periodic wave shoaling and breaking over beaches (with and without a bar) and develop Depth-Inversion-Algorithms for predicting the bottom topography in shallow water, based on characteristics of surface waves measured by remote sensing.

Clinical Trial: Prognostic Significance of T Wave Alternans   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-25)
T Wave Alternans is a subtle every-other-beat variation in electrocardiographic T waves that is prognostic of patients at high risk for life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death.
It has recently been shown that T Wave Alternans (TWA) measured during exercise is strongly associated with inducible monomorphic CVT and with subsequent spontaneous arrhythmic events.
The secondary aims included comparing risk due to T Wave Alternans between the ischemic patients and non-ischemic patients and assessing whether T Wave Alternans remained an independent predictor of risk upon adjustment for other known risk factors for arrhythmic events such as ejection fraction, ventricular ectopy, NSVT, average NN interval, and RR interval variability.

 Preserving the Wave
This was to be expected, since the wave equation is symmetrical in t and x, whereas Galileo's transformation is not.
As noted previously, the Lorentz transformation arises from consideration of the wave equation, and the suitability of the coordinate systems related by these transformations is based on the fact that a wave (i.e., a field distribution satisfying the wave equation) with respect to one such system is a wave with respect to all such systems.
In particular, it's interesting to consider whether a transformation that permutes the retarded wave cones of a spherically symmetrical sequence of waves leads to a useful representation of the causal relations between events.

 T wave inversion :: The Doctors Lounge(TM)
The T wave on an EKG represents the repolarization or resetting of the electrical cells in the bottom chambers of the heart.
Reasons for inverted T waves are numerous and may include ischemia, Heart attack, hyperventilation, Anxiety, certain medications, infections around the heart, pulmonary embolus (blood clot in the lung), electrolyte disturbance (abnormalities in sodium, potassium levels) etc. When an EKG is viewed, all of the waves are evaluated, not just one in particular.
With this in mind and considering that the rest of the waves on the EKG appeared to him/her without any sort of defect, is probably why he/she stated it was an essentially normal EKG.
