According to the source, TAAG’s decision is due to a determination from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which obliges, from this year’s January 1st, the use of anti-collision systems in planes that operate in the African air space.
They equally defend that the effort made by TAAG should be followed by all companies operating in the country.
