However, the most well constructed plugins are packaged in archives which can easily be uncompressed directly to the correct game folders with no need for manual placement.

I thought my plugin file might have somehow gotten out of sync, so I opened the TES Construction Set, checked off the same files I have listed as Data Files in Morrowind, set Suran Underworld as active file, and saved.
I've tried setting my system clock back a couple of days and opening the construction set and saving them again: this sets the 'date accessed' flag to a couple of days ago, but I still get the same error when loading my save game.

i do not see how having more ram would make a difference with the construction set, you should just go ahead and instal it.
Try running the construction set again, write down the errors that it presents you with, post them here, as suggested above.
More RAM does make a difference, because the editor uses additional RAM the longer the files are that it loads.

Now, the Construction set is Extremly limited, which means the only way to do it would be coding.
I know some people may think that my ideas will create a whole new game but in those deep dark dungeons it would be wise to remember that those golden saints you murdered were in the original too.
I understand why Bethesda did NOT include multiplayer, but at the same time, it upsets me. The easiest solution, as someone said earlier, is to try and get bethesda to undo their error and create a multiplayer version, via patch or expansion, doesn't make a lick of difference to me.

The Difficulty slider has 200 different settings that will either increase the amount of damage you deal and receive or reduce the amount of damage you deal or receive, depending on where you set the slider.
You should be able to play the game with your Hardware Acceleration set at full from now on.

And if you're going to be doing much modding, I'd recommend reading the Construction Set forum regularly: there are a lot of very common problems (such as dirty saves) that frequently trip up inexperienced modders, and reading the CS forum may help you avoid some hassles.
All I know is that you change the extension from '.ess' to '.esp' so you can view it in the Construction Set, but I've never actually gotten around to looking at a save game in the editor.
The second, and possibly better, method, is to copy all the original textures from your second CD (labelled Construction Set I believe).

I was just wondering about the TES Construction Set items and other whatnot.
btw, there's no bookart files or anything in the data files for the TES, and I don't know where else to look for them, unless there's a mod out there I haven't heard of yet.
I may be off though, I haven't played in months and I've gotten used to the Neverwinter Nights Toolset the last 7 months or so.
