TGV tickets can be purchased at any train station, either at the ticket window or from the electronic self-service machines.
While the major TGV lines have many trains running per day, try to make your reservations as far in advance as possible, especially if your travel dates are during peak holiday times (long week-ends in May, Christmas, July and August, etc.).
