TI is the sole source for digital light processing micro-mirror components, a technology used in video projectors and televisions.

 TI-85 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The '85 was significantly more powerful than the TI-81, as it was designed as a calculator primarily for use in engineering and calculus courses.
The TI-86 is very similar to the '85, sharing the same display resolution (128×64) and processor speed (6 MHz).
Designed in 1992 as TI's second graphing calculator (the first was the TI-81), it has since been replaced by the TI-86.

The easy way to give an 85 a basic program from an 86 is to send the program to a computer using a TI Connectivity cable, then copy and paste the program text from the 86 Graph Link to the 85 Graph Link program, then send the program to the 85.
TI has some assembly information for the 86 and 89 Flash family at their site as well as Software Development Kits for the 83 Flash family and 89 Flash family.

There are programs available at TI Calculator Program Archive.
The programs compute the left and right Riemann sums L and R, the trapezoid rule T which is the average of R and L, the midpoint rule M, and Simpson's rule S which is a weighted average of T and M, S=(2M+T)/3.

The first TI calculator I got was a TI-85 in July 1997.
I subscribed to the 85 assembly mailing list, even though I never so much as made a "hello, world" program for it.
Supposedly this application will be included in all new TI-83+'s, but in any case, it's available on TI's website.

TI's 2.5mm connector is slightly different from the standard; they taper it differently.
They look very similar to the TI ones save one difference: standard connectors are tapered so that they snap into place; TI's are not.
