TK421 was the identification of the unfortunate Stormtrooper in Star Wars (and the only named Stormtrooper in the Star Wars movies) whose uniform was stolen by Luke and Han after they ambushed the scanning crew.
THX is the name of a sound certification system, also created by George Lucas This name may also relate to Tom Holmo, who designed the crossover for the speakers (Tom Holmo Xover).
In the Legion of Superheroes epsiode "Brain Drain" the character Braniac 5's hive number is TK421.

The only dumb answer is an answer not given.
If you searched these forums, TK421, you would have had this issues resolved before you made your initial post.
Instead, you could of helped him/her by trying to give them a solution to their question and then suggesting that they can use the forums to search throughout the archive of the forums.

Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
Out of interest tk421, does your friend have up to date anti virus running and, if so, can he scan the files he "received" from you?
If not, perhaps he could send then on to Symantec (or another anti virus vendor) for them to examine and advise.
