		TLC Network is is an American cable TV network that carries a variety of informational and reality-based programming.
		TLC is owned by Discovery Communications, the same company that operates the Discovery Channel.
		The letters "TLC" come from the original name "The Learning Channel," a moniker which has fallen by the wayside as the network's programming is not as directly educational as it was in the past.

		In late 2002 the BBC aired a comedy TV series, "TLC", based around the NHS, it was a bit of a rip-off of Scrubs but the TV.com page has all the details.
		I never watched TLC, but Scrubs was good although it used to be on when I was either at school, or watching something else so I didn't see much of it.
		It's not called Tlc in Germany, it's called Dr Flynn, and the dvd is in English with (optional I think) German subtitles.
