 TNT wins 34 million Euro logistics contract in Latin America - TNT
TNT Logistics has signed an exclusive three-year contract with Case New Holland Group (CNH Group - incorporating Case, Fiat Allis and New Holland) to design and manage an integrated logistics operation within Latin America.
TNT's first task will be the creation of a 25,000 square metre distribution centre in Itu (San Paolo).
Strategically located, the warehouse will integrate the spare parts flows of the three brands; TNT will be in charge of warehousing and distribution to both national and international markets.

Forwarder Panalpina World Transport Ltd., no stranger to Latin America, is enhancing its service to the market by focusing on customized services, a strategy designed to position Panalpina between integrated carriers that operate their own planes and conventional forwarders and consolidators, according to Tom Mack, Panalpina’s Miami regional manager.
TNT overhauled its hub operation in Santiago, Chile eight months ago to strengthen its service network in Latin America, said Sandoval.
From the Santiago hub TNT provides service to the U.S., its largest exporting destination from Latin America, and to Europe, where it is a dominant player in the express distribution market.

 TNT Latin America Extends Agreement with NBA Through 2000
TNT Latin America and the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced today that they have reached agreement to extend their partnership in Latin America into the next century.
TNT Latin America will also team up with the NBA to grow the game and the partnership by supporting the NBA's efforts to increase grassroots basketball participation throughout the region and increasing awareness through a number of interactive consumer contests.
TNT Latin America, the first US entertainment cable network to launch in the region, celebrates its seventh anniversary in 1998.

If you are not currently recieveing stereo on your TNT reception, call your cable company and make sure they don't recieve us in stereo; there is nothing we can personally do to MAKE them broadcast us in stereo, though, as we have no control over cable affiliates' operations.
