tr-808 I was searching discussion groups' archives in Lynx over a 15Kbps modem, and in the event that I could even find an 808 for sale, it was sold by the time I found the post. That kind of thing was typical in the early 90s before Harmony Central and Ebay, when it was much harder to buy gear like this.
