TADDEO GAUDI (about 1300-1366, or later), son of Gaddo, was born in Florence, and is usually said to have been one of Giottos most industrious assistants for a period of 24 years.
To Taddeo are generally ascribed the celebrated frescoesthose of the ceiling and left or western wallin the Cappella degli Spagnuoli, in the church of S. Maria Novella, Florence; this is, however, open to considerable doubt, although it may perhaps be conceded that the designs for the ceiliiig were furnished by Taddeo.
AGNOLO GADDI, born in Florence, was the son of Taddeo; the date of his birth has been given as 1326, but possibly 1350 is nearer the mark.

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Agnolo, Giovanni, and Taddeo Gaddi
The father died in 1366, Giovanni in 1383, Agnolo in 1396, and all three are buried in Santa Croce in Florence.
Taddeo was the godson of Giotto, lived with him twenty-four years, and became the most eminent of his numerous scholars.
Giovanni Gaddi, the brother and pupil of Agnolo, was a man of much less importance, and hardly any works now remain which can be attributed to him with certainty, as in the rebuilding of San Spirito at Florence most of his work was destroyed.

Imago Mundi - Gadda Gaddi / Taddeo Gaddi / Agnolo Gaddi.
