The airplane impacted the ground in a nose low attitude on a heading of 110 degrees in an avocado grove located on the east side of the departure course, 3.3 DME miles south of the airport.
Prior to entering service with TAESA June 1998, the aircraft had been used by NASA and was modified to support the reduced-gravity mission.

If AeroMexico wants to compete against the new IB, LH and AF flights they have to be wiser and they should get more B767 200's and 300's.
About the GDL-YVR flight, I also live in Guadalajara, and I think It will be a great opportunity for both countries to increase their commerce.

In September Mexican aviation safety was criticised bt the pilots union, ASPA, which had accused Taesa of flying unsafe "scrap metal" and further claimed nearly one in three would clearly be barred from the entering the US for these safety concerns.
Today cash strapped Taesa acknowledged that two more of its aging DC-9 jets were forced to turn back after encountering mechanical difficulties over the weekend according to AP.
