		Tagab and accused-appellant worked together for half a day in the construction of a fishpond owned by one Iking Enduro Accused-appellant slept in Tagab's house and left the following morning, telling Tagab that he was going to Dadiangas.
		Tagab later found out that accused-appellant put the washed clothes in his bag which he hung on the fence of a certain Nida Cabales and went to Sitio Sta.
		Accused-appellant himself said that Tagab did not open the gate at once but had to peep through the window in his house to see who was calling before letting him know that he had been recognized.

	Afghanistan: Return to Tagab
		The vast majority of the 100,000 inhabitants of the Tagab valley, 90 km north-east of Kabul, are now returning to their land.
		After being displaced from their homes by the fighting which ravaged Tagab in 1992, the valley's inhabitants received assistance from the ICRC and the Swedish Red Cross in the Samarkhel camp near Jalalabad.
		With renewed pride clearly visible on the faces of the valley people, the ICRC was able to close its Tagab office officially on 19 January.

		The drought and the Taliban ban appear to be discouraging farmers and returnees in Azra, Tagab and Sarobi from sowing poppy this autumn.
		In Tagab, opium poppy was observed for the first time in 1999, with an estimated 5 hectares, which had increased to an estimated 104 hectares in 2000.
		Out of a total of 62 respondents from the poppy growing districts of Azra, Tagab and Sarobi, 57 were farming their own land as small holders, 6 were leasing land, and 5 were not cultivating poppy and disapproved of the practice.

		TEXT: The Pakistan-based Afghan Islamic Press says Taleban troops have attacked opposition forces led by Ahmad Shah Masood near Tagab and Koh Safi, about 45 kilometers northeast of Kabul.
		The Taleban says they have captured the towns of Tagab and Najrab, in addition to several mountain top positions in the area.
		The hard-line Islamic movement also says at least 15 opposition tanks have been captured.

	Afghan Oppn claims advances in Taliban-held districts
		KABUL, AUG 7: Afghan Opposition troops were closing in on the Taliban-held twin districts of Tagab and Nijrab after sporadic fighting erupted overnight, an opposition spokesman said on Friday.
		Forces loyal to anti-Taliban commander Ahmad Shah Masood were confident that both districts northeast of Kabul would fall shortly and Taliban fighter jets had carried out four sorties on the Opposition's Panjsher Valley stronghold, he said, adding, ``There were civilians killed in the bombing raids but we're still assessing the damage''.
		Over the next week the militia scored a stunning series of victories and forced Masood to retreat.But on Thursday, Masood launched a counter strike and has since regained nearly all territory lost to the militia and pushed the them back to within 30 kilometres north of Kabul.
