Have been to Parque Tairona many times though not since 1999 now and not with my son so would like to take him there but only if safe to do so.
A couple weeks ago I hiked a couple hours through the forest to ariciefes, and nearby beaches in Tairona.
It seemed like a safe tourist area, but there may be more secluded/dangerous parts of Tairona I'm not sure.
