	Past Challenge
		I was on my way for an attempted crossing by foot, alone, from west to east, of the Taklimakan Desert in western China, the second largest mobile desert in the world.
		This desert traverse would be anywhere from 600 to 700 miles of walking.
		Then, hopefully I would walk across the desert, survive the grueling heat, take beautiful photos, make new friends with the locals, and have some fun with solitude and a new environment I knew almost nothing about-real desert wilderness.
