Talca, E. byLinares and Nuble, and S. by Concepcin, and lying between the rivers Maule and Itata, which form its northern and southern boundaries.
The provincial capital, Cauquenes (pop., in 1895, 8574; 1902 estimate, 9895), is centrally situated on the Buchupureo river, on the eastern slopes of the coast cordilleras.
The upper course and tributaries of the Maule, principally in the province of Linares, are largely used for irrigation.

The quality of the forests of the coastal cordillera of these provinces, also of the forests of Chiloé, Aysen and Magallanes, is notably lower, tending to deteriorate as the latitude or altitude increases.

Province names seem right according to cities (except for Talca) but probably a little bit displaced to the south so probably we shouldn't mind the name of the provinces.
Although, even though it is technically in Erie province, it does seem a bit odd to have a city so far away from Lake Erie be the settlement for that province...

The first Province to do so will be the Central Brazil Province as it starts just today the first session of its Extraordinary Provincial Chapter which is to be concluded next July 24th.

The trip can be done only in January, because both countries authorities allow transit over the path because during winter it snowed in.
This is a nice cycling stage because we roll on pavement and the group is very close now.
