A SUSPECTED Abu Sayyaf member was killed by government troops over the weekend after he sneaked into an army camp in Talipao town, Sulu province, and attacked a soldier with a bolo, a military report said.
The military said Abu Rabali, alias Abu Bi Salih, of Barangay Mahala, Talipao, was shot dead by a member of the Army's 35th Infantry Battalion at around 3 p.m.
It was believed Rabali was seeking to steal firearms when he was spotted by a camp sentry, prompting him to attack the latter with a bolo.
