i listen to people talk...educated soldiers...there are others who pay attention...who have view points and it always excites me to listen to a well read soldier with differing views approach a discussion with a level head...that is how others will learn something...debate with an open mind forces others to grow as people...
no doubt this ingenuity saved soldiers lives...this technological advantage and subsequent use of it brought soldiers home...to their families...their loved ones...people are alive today because of a vacuum induced by tank rounds...

As a test send a multi-mb file and talk on Skype on a laptop at the same time, now multiply that by all the corporate types on an always-on vpn in a starbucks/airport etc and I somehow feel that the mobile companies aren't going to be too fussed in the short-term.
Until the client (PPC as opposed to flesh & blood) can create a tunnel to the access point ensuring some form of QOS the inherent latency issue becomes unbearable.
I knew there were rumors of a Skype client for PocketPCs, but Andy alerted me that Skype launched a VoIP client for PocketPCs today.

Since I began writing for this blog, I have seen a war begin and end, domestic political alliances shift, several people shut down and restart blogs, and various contributors to Kesher Talk come and go.
The area around it is lit by spotlights, monitored by cameras, motion detectors and magnetic sensors, and patrolled by armed guards with attack dogs.
Although theoretically Israel's borders with a future Palestinian state are open to negotiation, it is disingenuous to deny that the fence creates "facts on the ground." But Robbins points out that this cuts both ways.
