 Workshop via mind map
I've been using the mind mapping tool MindManager for a little under a year, and in that time I have used it to help me design a class at Northwestern, take notes at a variety of events, and set up notes for a talk at BlawgThink with Jim McGee last month.
I've been using the mind mapping tool MindManager for a little under a year, but in that time I have used it in a variety of ways.
I have two suggestions for mind mapping software resources: I operate the InnovationTools website, and it contains an extensive Mind Mapping Resource Center that contains many reviews of popular programs, links to the sites of software vendors and more.

Mental Images: In search of a Theory
Subjects were asked to memorize a map and to refer to their image of the map in solving the problem.
My purpose in belaboring the distinction between intrinsic and extrinsic constraints, and what is being presupposed when we talk of “functional space,” is simply to set the stage for the real issues, which are empirical.
They were then asked to imagine the map and to focus their attention on one place — say the “church”.

 History of Leys
Within a few months, Alfred Watkins had discovered enough substantiating evidence from maps and from fieldwork, that he was able to lecture on his discovery to the Woolhope Club, illustrating his talk with his own lantern slides.
On 30th June 1921, Alfred Watkins was at Blackwardine, and was looking at a map with no particular object in mind when he noticed an alignment that passed over some hilltops and various ancient sites.
Watkins spent much time in the countryside, checking alignments, often finding significant mark points on the line that were not marked on the map, and on several occasions verifying the existence of the track by excavation.

Moral and Absolute moral or truth and Truth is something you and I know when we talk about it, because we find it an interesting area to talk about (ironically) but to most people there is just Truth, even when they talk about truth.
The map is a relative truth and the territory is an absolute truth, it is what it is. We all intrinsically know the value of this saying because we deal with the difference between perception and reality every day.
Truth is the idea that there is a single narative, a single overaching and irreducible way to look at the world, something that brings it all together, something that can be no other way.

Blogcritics.org: Nicolas Cage Speaks About National Treasure, aka Raiders of the National Archives
The chick's hot, but seeing Nicolas Cage (a historian and scholar of some sort, mind you) and his horse-teeth talk in that funny voice about finding a treasure map and stealing the Declaration of Independence insults your intelligence so much it just makes you laugh.
Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage stars as Benjamin Franklin Gates, an archaeologist and treasure-hunter who discovers that a map to a priceless bounty lies on the back of the Declaration of Independence.
I disagree about Cage also: he is absolutely all over the place in his choices of films and roles and his flexibility has served him very well and led to his Oscar.

Living in Queensland, Australia, I am frequently asked to draw a line on the map where "she'll be right" applies on one side of the line and "don't go there" applies to the other.
In some climate you can build garden walls, in Queensland climates you need to have a suitable awning/verandah for your location; in higher moisture load locations you need to talk with architect - considerations may include verandah with as much as a 1:1 ratio to the wall height, cladding, water barriers that are vapor permeable...

Raven Software, in particular, has built technology like the GHOUL II system -- do you take any of these systems into consideration or talk with these developers as you develop the new DOOM engine, or is the game basically being built with one game in mind and a specific set of goals?
With this in mind, we were able to ask the man behind the technology -- id Software's John Carmack -- a few questions about the new engine, the current state of video cards, and a few other topics.
The game also uses the same map file that the editor uses, so the original source data can be opened up with any copy of the game.

(Not really.) Beta’s thinking characteristics have appeared to fill specific needs at a particular time in history and a categorical place in our psyche’s development, so they are distinctive and explicit, not homogenized and all over the map (although they do often make use of thinking skills developed earlier in uniquely effective ways).
But after agreeing to talk with me about changes in their life and thinking and how these alterations came about, when the time came to chat, they got cold feet and withdrew.
In this chapter I suggest that how the Beta thinker plays the game is the most revealing single feature of the Beta thinker’s mind.

WD's translation in Dragon Force is commendable as well; although there is less dialogue in Dragon Force than in the average RPG, WD makes the sparse dialogue flow pretty well, though a significant amount of the trash-talk responses match the initial taunt poorly.
Dragon Force's gameplay is split up into two main phases: the preparation phase and the map phase.
Out of all of the console strategy RPGs that come to mind, Dragon Force is best compared to Ogre Battle and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games, even though it isn't that much like either of the aforementioned games.
