Gospel singer Kirk Franklin flew to Chicago Tuesday, Nov. 15, to tape an upcoming episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” According to Franklin, the show’s producers called and asked him to come talk about his prior addiction to pornography, an issue Franklin has discussed openly for several years.
Franklin is candid about his past with drugs, pornography and growing up without a father on the song “Let It Go” from his new album “Hero.” The song features guest vocals by tobyMac and P.O.D.’s Sonny Sandoval.
“This is a topic I’ve been talking about for a while now,” Franklin told Billboard Radio Monitor.
