I have been dealing with this “Tall Poppy Syndrome” all of my life, in fact my mother especially disowned myself when at the age of 18 help build her a brand new home and then a year later buy her a brand new car.

but we are aloud to disagree, its not tall poppy syndrome, or 'denial', its just not beleiving every word he says, or more mildly, beleoving there is other evidence out there that paints a different view.

This article has purely been written for the editors sake to highlight the effort, dedication, goodwill and belief put into the clubs, members and croquet in general by the members of the State Squad and State Team.
As it is usually the case in life, Tall Poppy Syndrome or the like seems to rear its ugly head at the wrong time.
When we come to think of it, it shouldn't occur at all, particularly, and most particularly, when the unfortunate target are ones who seemingly do not deserve the harsh treatment that has been dished out to them.

Tall poppy syndrome is not ugly it one of the best things about Australia, the opposite is far worse.
