MOSKVINA HONOURED: Longtime figure skating coach Tamara Moskvina of Russia was honoured during a brief ceremony dedicated to her induction into the Figure Skating Hall of Fame during the world championships Thursday.
Moskvina was a five-time champion in the former Soviet Union.
Among the Canadians inducted in the past are Barbara Ann Scott, Donald Jackson, the pairs team of Barb Wagner and Robert Paul and Toller Cranston.

The spin that is now referred to as a "Bielmann," with the raised leg high up behind--I swear I can remember Tamara Moskvina as a pair skater with Alexei Mischin doing the same spin years before Denise Bielmann came along.
TM would do this spin, and her partner would do a spread-eagle in a circle around her as she spun around in the center.
