		Tanda is the name that has become dominant among the people who participate in it in Mexico and those in the United States.
		She has participated in 5 tandas in the last four years, since she was introduced to tandas in the workplace.
		The tanda participants were determined by the Lead, the person who delegates the daily tasks to the workers and reports to the supervisor.

		The tanda concept that starts with the second most powerful song and ends with the most powerful song appeals to me. Not that the two middle ones are inferior or poor filler, they all must be great or excellent dance songs.

		I think the only translation of "tanda" is "turn" and that doesn't really convey what it is. I'd leave it the same.
		Specially in the past, people did not have ready access to Bank accounts, etc and it was easier to participate in "tandas".
		BTW, like Lorenia mentioned, IN MEXICO the TANDA is used as a group savings for those that do not have the motivation or the means to save money.

		I rarely last beyond three quick milongas on the dance floor, hence milonga tandas should have three songs as opposed to four.
		Tom wrote me in response to this post to Tango-L that for the short milongas and house milongas he uses 3 song tandas and plays vals/milonga tandas after only one tanda of tango to keep energy level high.
		I would disagree with some of the choices made in sample tandas and most of music listed under neo tango is undanceable in my opinion.
