Tandragee (Tóin re Gaoith in Irish) (also spelt Tanderagee) is a large village in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, on the Cusher River.
Prior to the Irish Rebellion of 1641, Tandragee Castle was the ancestral seat of the O'Hanlon Sept, Princes of Oirthirr and Ui Naillan.
Tandragee is classified as an intermediate settlement by the NI Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) (ie with population between 2,050 and 4,500 people).

As those who know Tandragee, level fields are few and far between and the right to use the old pitch on the Scarva Road was finally granted as long as it was required for a football team.
Tandragee Rovers were established in August 1909 and the pitch secured from the Duke was duly named Manchester Park.

Bobby Edgar has been confirmed as the new Clerk of the Course for the Tandragee 100 after taking over from Ray Wilson.
Edgar has served in the position of Assistant Clerk of the Course for several years and he is delighted with the fact that a second support race has had to be added due to the popularity of the event, which takes place on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 7.
Prize money for the Tandragee 100 itself stands at £1000, while there will be a total of £9000 in the purse spread over seven events.

Adrian Archibald and Ryan Farquhar crashed out together at Cookstown but both bounced back with Archibald taking the Tandragee victory from Farquhar, and they will be two of the main contenders at Dundrod on their Superbike machines.
This is normally the closest race of the meeting and this meeting should be no exception with those top three contenders battling at the front.
Again Ian Lougher is on top form after his triple victories at the Cookstown 100, North West 200 and last weeks TT and is more than keen to conquer Robert at Dundrod again.

As the leaders headed out onto their last lap Robert had the Crossan Honda in front but Lindsay was obviously not going to give up the fight as they swept past the huge crowds neck and neck.
At the flag it was Robert who got the verdict, his first road race win of the season and his first here at Tandragee since incredibly 1993.
Consolation though to Darran Lindsay as he broke the lap record on the last lap on the Nibbles Honda taking a superb second place.
