 | | Naming the new band Tantric, the MTV-ready group was an instant success with their earthy brand of alternative post-grunge. |
 | | Starting out Tantric’s 70-minute set was “Astounded,” one of three hits generated from their debut release in 2001.After a few strongly delivered newer songs came one of the set’s highlights, the beautiful ballad “Mourning,” another older hit. |
 | | Tantric’s latest single, “Hey Now,” which is barely receiving the airplay that it deserves, was another crowd-pleaser, and their biggest hit, “Breakdown,” was nicely played; unfortunately, the CD version of the song shines a bit brighter due to the cool-sounding production effects that can’t be duplicated in a live setting. |
