		Tasavallan Presidentti (in English President of the Republic) was a Finnish progressive rock band.
		Eero Raittinen replaced Robson as a vocalist in 1972, the same year as the album Lambertland was released in UK.
		Tasavallan Presidentti split in 1974, but nowadays it is active again.

		Tasavallan Presidentti were, alongside Wigwam, Kalevala and Kaamos, one of Finland's best bands.
		Their roots appear to go back to the mid to late sixties when they were formed by guitarist extraordinaire Jukka Tolonen, drummer Vessa Aaltonen, sax player Juhann Aaltonen and keyboard player Mans Groundstroem, later to move to Wigwam.

		This jazz-rooted progressive unit was formed by Tolonen and drummer Vesa Aaltonen, and it was true supergroup get-together of the extreme elite of Finnish musicians.
		In 1976, two years after receiving the Georgie Award and the disbanding of Tasavallan Presidentti, Tolonen guested on the critically acclaimed 'Front Is Breaking' by Eero Koivistoinen and together with the Swedish guitarist Coste Apetrea founded JTB, the Jukka Tolonen Band.
		The beginning of the 21st century has seen the guitar hero take part in the re-union of the original line-up of Tasavallan Presidentti, continue onwards on his solo career, rekindle his love affair with flamenco music, and widen his horizons by founding a special project concentrating on sax giant John Coltrane's music.

		Wasting no time, the band gets down to business on the infectious “Charter Flight”, which reminds me a little of Tolonen’s old band Tasavallan Presidentti, circa Milky Way Moses.
		All told, this is a magnificent CD and highly recommended to fans of Wigwam, Tasavallan Presidentti, Canterbury prog and even Frank Zappa.
