The weekend was meant to be one of Tatebayashi`s biggest summer festivals, but it ended up being washed out over the course of a 4 hour summer storm.
Miss Tatebayashi was busy calling bingo, and presenting tokens of appreciation to masked pro wrestlers, so G and I walked the festival street amongst all the kitsch bamboo and fluoro decorations that are the Tanabata Festival (star crossed lovers) to find the best kakigori (sno cone) vendor.
