		The Tawrat and the Injil are frequently referred to in the Quran.
		The Tawrat is mentioned with honour as having been, in its purity, a true revelation from Allah.
		Nor is it correct to translate Tawrat as the "Pentateuch", a Greek term meaning the "five books", known as Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

		It is commanded by Allah that we believe the Tawrat, Zabur, and Injil, along with all that Allah has revealed.
		The Tawrat was revealed first, then the Zabur, and finally the Injil.
		The Old Testament division includes the Tawrat of Musa (a:), the Zabur of Dawud (a:), and the books of other prophets such as Hazrat Yusha (Joshua), Samuel, Uzair (Ezra), Sulayman (Solomon), Ayub (Job), Ishaya (Isaiah), Irmiya (Jeremiah), Zul-Kifl (Ezekiel), Yunus (Jonah) and Daniel (a:).

		The original Tawrat contained guidance (huda) and light (nur) in order to dispel the darkness of ignorance, in accordance with which the Israelite prophets, who had submitted to Allah (aslamu), gave instructions to the Jews, as did the rabbis and priests who remembered the true wordings of the original book.
		It should be noted that although the original Tawrat had been corrupted by the Jews but some important and basic essentials were kept safe in the memory of some of their honest scholars; whereas Allah Himself has taken the responsibility of keeping the Quran in original form without any additions or omissions (Hijr: 9).
		Only the prophets and the pious divines who had submitted to Allah, were entrusted with the responsibility of giving judgements according to the Tawrat.

		Malik reported God's messenger as saying that it is written in the Torah, “If anyone does not give his daughter in marriage when she reaches twelve and she commits sin, the guilt of that rests on him.” Baihaqi transmitted both traditions in Shu'ab al-Iman.
		Moreover he indicates what is written in the Tawrat, not what was written in the Tawrat and is now corrupted or abrogated.

		Dhaalika means "that" and refers to the preceding Book, that is, the Tawrat, Zabur, and Injil, which had been compiled into one book by the time the Qur’an was revealed.

	The Integrity of the Bible according to the Qu'ran
		This is interesting as we have today manuscripts of the Tawrat and Injil that date to BEFORE the time of Muhammed.
		By the time this Surah was written, the text of the Tawrat had been around for many centuries, scattered throughout most of the known world in various Jewish communities.
		Even if some corrupt Jews did misreport and even corrupt part of the Tawrat for profit, this hardly implies a general corruption of the text throughout all nations where the Jews were dispersed.

		The Cow mentioned in the Koran relates to the Heifer mentioned in the Holy Books (Tawrat:Deuteronomy 21.4-6), also we find in the Tawrat that a sacrificail Cow was used to cleanse Nabi Musa's people and make them right before Allah.(Tawrat Numbers 19.17).
		We also a Korban/Sacrifice being used by Allah to spare a life in Tawrat Genesis this time sparing the son of Nabi Ibraheem
		In an overview of these passages from the Holy Books we see that Korban is used to give life to those deemed in the power of death.
