 | | The second Te Deum was first performed in September of 1802 in Eisenstadt in conjunction with a visit there from Lord Horatio Nelson, a British military hero famous for a naval victory in Egypt during the Napoleonic Wars. |
 | | Te Deum is scored for flute, two oboes, bassoon, two horns, three trumpets, two trombones, bass trombone, timpani, violins, viola, mixed chorus, and continuo. |
