Pennyroyal Tea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
'Pennyroyal Tea' is a song by the 1980s/ 1990s grunge band, Nirvana, and the ninth song on their 1993 album, In Utero.
A solo, stripped down performance of "Pennyroyal Tea" appears on the acoustic MTV Unplugged in New York album.
Given Cobain's fascination with the birth process (blatently visible throughout the In Utero album on which the song first appeared but was not written for), and the lyric "distill the life that's inside of me," some claim the song is referring to abortion, at least symbolically.

Imperial Elegance - Chinese Ceramics from Asia Society's Rockefeller Collection
The Northern Song emperor Huizong (reigned 1101—1125) was a lover of the dried, powdered tea from Fujian, which was frothy white when whisked in hot water.
Huizong, the Northern Song-dynasty emperor who reigned from 1101 to 1126, was the epitome of the Chinese emperor-aesthete, and his taste had a strong and long-lasting impact on the arts, ranging from poetry to jade carving.
Unlike earlier Northern Song emperors, Huizong was not interested in the style of Ding ware, with its light colored and often imperfect glazes and incised and impressed decoration.

InternetEd Reviews: Buddy Guy- Sweet Tea
Sweet Tea gets rolling with “Done Got Old,” an excellent remake of the Kimbrough tune with low, sparse vocals and stripped down guitar riffs, and “Baby Please Don’t Leave Me” is a solid yet funky blues song with Buddy Guy proving his guitar playing strength and skill via a stack of brilliant, fiery riffs.
However, with Sweet Tea, Buddy Guy has made a record that retains the earthy sounds of classic blues while keeping a reasonably clear and representative production, making for a record that is spirited and blazing—put simply, Sweet Tea is blues to the core.
All in all, Buddy Guy’s Sweet Tea is a fiery, gritty, and ultimately energetic blues masterpiece that should not be overlooked.

I respect the fact that Helena's song is not your cup of tea, however its unfair to critise Greece for promoting their song when every year, including this year, other countries are putting a marketing blitz on their own songs.
Greece does not need to hype the song - a quick glance on polls and news articles all over Europe sing the praises of Helena and her song - so other countries are doing the work for Greece.
But to be fair, that song is not a winner.

Teaching Apache Language in a Kindergarten Classroom
The Apache song and dance instructor noted in our December meeting that "the songs were picked up easily by the children but retention was more difficult for those pupils who were not being raised in an Apache-speaking home."
The Apache teacher aide was especially critical to the success of the project, and it seems that the school's financial constraints also played a role in the inability to replace her.
It was observed that the general mastery of the dances and songs was a function of the difficulty of the overall task and of the pedagogical/instructional practices.

I've heard a couple of versions of this song, most of which fall flat on their ass because they forget that the lead singer is supposed to sing, not just talk his way through the number.
